Arnautovic sends message to fans
West Ham’s forward Marko Arnautovic ended all transfer speculation in style by sending a video message to the fans informing them he is going to stay in London.
In the last few weeks, the Austrian striker has been strongly linked to a big money move to China, which at times seemed like a done deal. Arnautovic appeared to wave goodbye to the Hammers fans at the London Stadium as he was being substituted in his side’s victory over Arsenal. However, he has now signed a new contract extension with West Ham and he wanted to make sure to let the fans know that he is staying.
In his video message from West Ham’s official Twitter account Arnautovic said, ‘Hi, West Ham fans. Finally you hear me talking. I’m back, I’m happy to be back and I’m happy for my decision that I’ve made. Check out the full video message below.

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their views and feeling’s after Arnautovic’s u-turn and while some of them urged other fans to support his decision and ‘get behind him’, others weren’t exactly too kind.
Here are a few posts from West Ham supporters debating Arnautovic’s decision.
Arnautovic was signed by the Hammers in the summer of 2018 from Stoke and after initially struggling under then-coach Slaven Bilic, he found his footing with the arrival of David Moyes when the Scotsman moved him into a more central role.
In this season so far, the ex-Inter Milan striker has been one of the best players for the club netting eight goals and providing two assists for his teammates while producing noticeable performances.
Loony understands that fans are always saddened and disappointed when they see one of their players looking to move to a different club but Loony also understand that an offer of 300k per week is something most humans would actually think about very carefully or at least consider J
With that in mind Loony sends his own message to the West Ham fans, “Don’t worry. Be Happy. And while Marko might not be ‘Blowing Bubbles’ Forever, he will still be shining for your team for a while longer.”
