Tiny Malta is going through from one hurricane to another, this time of a different nature. This time around, hitting the island is an unexpected storm disturbing the current stupendous weather.

The Notorious got to know about him being on one of Malta’s carnival floats from one of his staff members who, whilst scrolling on social media, saw his beloved McGregor as a float during Malta’s carnival! The post showed the remarkable carnival trailer in McGregor’s honour paraded in Valletta in the past few days.

Conor McGregor just loved it! It has since then been published on the star’s official Facebook page including the message “Having a great time with my fellow Maltese’s at La Karnival ta Malta. See you guys soon.”

Having a great time with my fellow Maltese’s at La Karnival ta Malta. See you guys soon.”

Conor McGregor was more than delighted in seeing himself portrayed in this way on an original Maltese carnival trailer. He was totally amused by it, showing it around to all his friends while bursting out into fits of his trademark loud laughter – the prominent Conor LOLs that we sports enthusiasts are all well accustomed with.

I believe with ought to go check this out quickly. Let’s fly to Malta. It should be fun. Who’s in?”

It took just minutes for him to decide to come to our beloved island today.  It is not yet known when the MMA fighter is expected to arrive in Malta. The details surrounding this event are being kept under tight seal for obvious security purposes.

Authorities fear that the Maltese public will flock in large numbers to Floriana tonight trying to catch a glimpse of the legend himself.  This would make everyone’s job harder to contain the carnival crowds and furore.

Nevertheless from reliable resources, Loony gathers that the Irishmen will be arriving in Malta sometime today with a private jet, unless he already got here in almost complete secrecy. It is not yet known whether the Irishmen will travel with his buddies or with his family.

An issue which once again leaves authorities slightly concerned. Conor with his wife, mother and kid would be one thing. But McGregor with his crew of fighting-buddies is a totally different scenario. Nobody would like to see Conor McGregor getting angry and causing scenes at the Floriana’s street tonight.

Posts and comments on social media have also been mixed with some welcoming him already while others not so happy of his arrival.

Currently we are all praying that this one Maltese guy’s comment will not cause any mayhem! If nothing, at least the post is quite patriotic. We’ll give you that @Chris Saammut! J

From what we can gather so far from the replies to this post, waters are heating up though and the relationships between Ireland and Malta might be in jeopardy.
