Walker fails to be funny this time…

Manchester City’s Kyle Walker used a popular photo of Harry Maguire to troll Liverpool after Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to win against Leicester.

Leicester’s and England international Harry Maguire equalized for his team against Liverpool away from home on Wednesday night and gave Manchester City hope in the race for the Premier League title.

Manchester City were surprisingly upset by Newcastle on Tuesday and a Liverpool win on Wednesday would have opened up a gap of seven points between them. However, Maguire’s strike means that Manchester City are now trailing the leaders by only 5 points.

The strong defender hit the net just before half time and earned his team a point in a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. In the aftermath Kyle Walker took to Twitter to troll rivals Liverpool by sharing a popular photo of Maguire talking to his partner Fern Hawkins during last summer’s World Cup in Russia, a picture which has already inspired several memes in the past ????

However, the post was later deleted and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why. Pep Guardiola, City’s head coach, has already shown his discontent with Benjamin Mendy for due to his social media antics. Benjamin Mendy revealed earlier on in the season that Pep was not happy with his excessive use of social media.

While finding it funny, Loony me thinks Kyle Walker’s post was quite ‘ballsy’ and might have also been a little bit preposterous considering his side lost to Newcastle on Tuesday and are still trailing five points behind Liverpool ????

Loony’s advice “Better focus on the pitch lad” ????
