Will Man City go the whole 9 yards?
After the 9-0 thrashing of League One side Burtion Albion in 1st Leg of the Carabao Cup Semi Final, Manchester City have virtually booked a place in the competition’s final and will be waiting for the Second Leg result between Chelsea and Tottenham to see which of these two will face them in this year’s Final.
Still in contention for all 4 competitions the bookies are offering a price of 50/1 for Manchester City to win a historic quadruple of trophies. Guardiola’s squad is certainly top drawer in terms of quality and the 9-0 score line in Wednesday’s Semi Final is further proof that City will not snub any of these competitions, not even the Carabao Cup.
Alas, battling on four fronts also means a tighter and busier schedule of fixtures to deal with, which in turn proves more draining in terms of physical and mental resources for all the players involved.
With their attention turning quickly towards the Premier League race (City still trailing leaders Liverpool by 4 points), the question looms:
Does Pep’s team has what it takes to go the whole nine yards and bag Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup all in one season?[/vc_column_text][rt_blog_style select_category=”loony-news” autoplay_timeout=”1000″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
